10. MLB Slugfest 2003- Xbox
Combining baseball with hand-to-hand combat likely took a page out of the NFL Blitz's book. From off-the-wall commentary by the announcers to vicious fighting, this game has a tremendously high replay value.
9. NFL BLITZ 2000- Sega Dreamcast
Bone crushing hits and frenetic action put this arcade all-timer in its own category. The laugh out loud and over the top violence make this both an incredibly fun and hilarious title.
8. MVP Baseball 2005- PS2
From the Dropkick Murphys bangers in the main menu to the realism of gameplay, this is hands down from soup to nuts. The best baseball simulation game ever made.
7. Madden 05- PS2
The introduction of the hit stick and hot routes made this a revolutionary installment for the Madden franchise. Add Ray Lewis to the cover and defense comes back with a vengeance after Michael Vick and the offense stole the show in Madden 2004.
6. NHL 94- Sega Genesis
The holy grail of all hockey video games, NHL '94 remains unmatched to this day. The shootout mode and it is worthy of a chapter on its own in video game history.
5. Madden 26-PS5
A potential turning point in the Madden franchise, Madden 26 harkens back to it's great gameplay roots. It gives long-time Maddenites a glimmer of hope for the future.
4. NBA Jam-Sega Genesis
Boom shakalaka! Arcade basketball at its finest. Deserving of probably a higher ranking for just sheer entertainment value!
3. NBA Live 2003-PS2
Jason Kidd, the last New Jersey Net to appear on a video game's cover art, is the poster boy for this game. The action is fast and furious, just like those early 2000s Nets teams. Some of the cutscenes are extremely goofy, but it adds to the charm of this well-regarded installment in the NBA Live franchise.

From Dr. J, to Michael Jordan to Jason Kidd to Shaquille O'Neal, the legends on the NBA Court take to the streets. Customizable characters including the abominable snowman make this zany basketball game an instant classic.
1. Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball- N64
Randy Johnson's slider, Mariano Rivera's cutter and Tim Wakfield's knuckleball? Good luck touching those unless you have Ken Griffey Jr.'s massive batting circle. A timeless game with endless hours of fun!
